Field Maintenance Shop Switchboard Replacement - LA Fed

The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, permits and fees necessary for the Field Maintenance Shop (FMS 10) Switchboard Replacement located at Field Maintenance Shop 10 (FMS 10), 1300 Federal Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90025.  Work to include: The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supervision necessary to replace existing damaged switchboard and all associated electrical componets at FMS 10.  All work shall be in accordance with the terms, conditions, and requirements of this Invitation for Bid (IFB). Bid submissions shall be emailed to PWC@cmd.ca.gov with the subject title BID FOR EVENT# 36371 - DO NOT OPEN.

Prospective bidders MUST attend the mandatory pre-bid job walk on 8/14/2025, at 11:00 AM at Field Maintenance Shop 10 (FMS 10), 1300 Federal Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90025. Arrive at least 15 minutes early and bring business cards. Failure to arrive at the designated meeting location by the scheduled start time may result in disqualification from submitting a bid. Prospective bidders shall not proceed directly to the job site unless directed to do so in writing by the Contracting Officer. Prospective bidders may obtain directions to the pre-bid job walk site by contacting Robert Hawkins at Robert.Hawkins@cmd.ca.gov.

Prospective bidders MUST sign-in prior to the start of the pre-bid job walk, attend the entire pre-bid job walk and be present for roll call at the conclusion of the pre-bid job walk. Bidders who do not remain for the entire pre-bid job walk will be considered non-responsive and will not be allowed to bid on this project.

The prime contractor MUST possess a type C-10 - Electrical Contractor license and/or B- General Building Contractor License, or subcontract to one.

All questions regarding this IFB MUST be submitted to Robert Hawkins, at Robert.Hawkins@cmd.ca.gov no later than 4:00 PM on 8/20/2025. Email subject lines must state RFI FOR EVENT# 36371.

If an addendum is necessary, it will be issued prior to the Bid Opening. The bid opening will be held on 8/25/2025 at 2:00 PM.
