Pierce County Planning and Public Works would like to secure the services of an experienced on-call Marine Engine Service and Repair Company (Contractor). The contractor must be regularly engaged in the maintenance and repair of marine Caterpillar (CAT) Diesel Engines, and any associated mechanical systems.
The County operates the following two (2) Ferry Vessels, these vessels are moored at the Steilacoom Ferry
Landing located at 56 Union Ave, Steilacoom WA 98388.
The Vessels, as described below are to be regularly maintained and repaired as needed:
M/V Christine Anderson (Subchapter “K” Vessel, 250 passengers and approximately 54 cars)
M/V Steilacoom II (Subchapter “K” Vessel, 299 passengers and approximately 54 cars)
