Federal Lobbying Services

The County has issued this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) with the sole purpose and intent of obtaining Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from interested and qualified Consultants to provide Federal Lobbying Services , in accordance with the specifications stated herein.

Walton County regularly engages in legislative advocacy to advance its priorities and to pursue funding opportunities that support critical infrastructure, public safety, environmental, and quality-of-life initiatives. Federal legislative and regulatory actions can have a direct and significant impact on the County’s operations, projects, and long-term planning.

The County’s prior federal lobbying services agreement has concluded, and the County is now seeking to establish a new professional services agreement through a qualifications-based selection process. The intent of this Request for Qualifications is to identify a highly qualified federal lobbying consultant with the experience, capacity, and relationships necessary to effectively represent the County’s interests before Congress and federal agencies.
