Summary

Clovis Unified School District is committed to delivering high-quality education through innovative programs, strong community partnerships, and forward-thinking policies. The purpose of this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is to solicit proposals from qualified Firms to provide Federal Legislative Advocacy Services that align with the District’s educational and funding priorities.

Qualified Firms must have a demonstrated history of successfully advocating for school districts before Congress and federal agencies. The selected Firm(s) will play a fundamental role in securing federal funding, legislative support, and regulatory guidance to enhance the District’s academic environment.

Background

Clovis Unified School District, located in Fresno County, is the twelfth-largest K-12 public school system in California. It serves the cities of Clovis and Fresno, along with unincorporated areas of Fresno County and the rural community of Friant. The District covers approximately 198-square miles and has a student population approaching 44,000.

The District is primarily funded by the State and local taxes, supplemented by Federal and State categorical programs and various local funding sources.
