Fayette County Commission WV REAP Demolitions 2025 Phase 7

The Fayette County Commission will receive sealed bids until 2:00 p.m. on September 29, 2025 , for inspection, asbestos testing, asbestos abatement, and demolition of the following structures:

126 Log Town Rd. Ansted, WV 25812( House and Garage)

103 Bennett St. Ansted, WV 25812

131 White Row. Ansted, WV 25812

207 Edge St. Ansted, WV 25812

1397 Scarbro Rd. Scarbro, WV 25917

173 Memorial Gardens Rd. Victor, WV 25938

143 Leander Rd. Victor, WV 25938

253 Boomer Loop Rd. Boomer, WV 25031

A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held Thursday, September 18, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. at the Fayette County Courthouse 100 N. Court St. Fayetteville, WV 25840, Commission Chambers.

Proposals should be mailed to Fayette County Commission, Attn: REAP Demolition Proposal Phase 7, PO Box 307 Fayetteville, WV 25840. Sealed bids can also be hand delivered to 100 N. Court St. Suite 2. Fayetteville, WV 25840 by the deadline of September 29th at 2pm. Sealed proposals will be opened publicly at the Fayette County Commission meeting on October 1st at or shortly after 9:45 a.m.

This demolition program is part of the REAP Demolition Grant. The demolition will be contracted per location if grant funding allows as property is approved and project will have to be complete by November 30, 2025.
