The Fayette County Commission will receive sealed bids until 2:00 p.m. on September 2, 2025 , for inspection, asbestos testing, asbestos abatement, and demolition of the following structures:

A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held Thursday, August 21, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at the Fayette County Courthouse 100 N. Court St. Fayetteville, WV 25840, Commission Chambers.

Proposals should be mailed to Fayette County Commission, Attn: REAP Demolition Proposal Phase 6, PO Box 307 Fayetteville, WV 25840. Sealed bids can also be hand delivered to 100 N. Court St. Suite 2. Fayetteville, WV 25840 by the deadline of September at 2pm. Sealed proposals will be opened publicly at the Fayette County Commission meeting on September 3rd at or shortly after 9:30 a.m.

This demolition program is part of the REAP Demolition Grant. The demolition will be contracted per location if grant funding allows as property is approved and project will have to be complete by November 30, 2025.
