Farmland Available for Lease

The Town of Orange has approximately a 7.5 Acre Farmland Parcel on Grassy Hill Road opposite the American Legion available for a 10-year lease strictly for the purpose of crop production. The land has been allowed to rest for 6 years. The Town of Orange requests a soil enriching cover crop be planted and harvested as a hay crop for the first six years of the lease.  The rent will be $200 per year payable on/or before March 1 ^st each year. The Town will require a cover crop to be applied as appropriate. No equipment to be left on the property after the season. All crops harvested are solely the property of the Lessee. The Town will receive proposals from 4-17-26 to 5-01-26 by 4:30 p.m. The proposal must list what you currently farm for crops and what type of use is planned. Proof of insurance listing the Town as additional insured will be required prior to signing the lease.
