Notice to Bidders and Newspaper Advertisement

The State University of New York at Buffalo will receive sealed bids for project number 2025-148 titled Farber Annex MRI Renovation until 7/29/2025 local time on 1:00 pm

All bid packages MUST be submitted via email to:

Email shall include Project # 2025-148 and Farber Annex MRI Renovation and “Contractor name” in Subject line.

NO BIDS SHOULD BE HAND DELIVERED OR DELIVERED THROUGH ANY DELIVERY SERVICE OR COMMON CARRIER. ONLY ELECTRONIC BIDS WILL BE ACCEPTED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. The University assumes no responsibility for any Proposal that is not delivered into its aforesaid email address by 1:00 PM local time.

All work on this Contract is to be completed by 3/15/2026 , starting on or after the University’s Notice to Proceed is received which shall be forwarded to the Contractor(s) upon approval of the contract of the New York State Comptroller.

Bidding and Contract Documents may be examined free of charge at the campus and at the following locations.

Complete sets of Contract Documents for bidding will be available on or about 6/30/25. The Contract documents may be viewed and ordered through the following website: www.avalonplanroom.com in the Public Bid section. If you do not have internet access or have questions on ordering from this site, please contact Avalon Document Services at (716)995-7777. Drawings can be picked up at Avalon Document Services located at 40 La Riviere Drive, Buffalo, New York 14202 after that move date. Payment can be submitted by credit card or by a check made payable to: Avalon Document Services

A walk-through site inspection will be held on 7/18/25 at 1:00 pm All interested parties should assemble at Outside the Farber Annex, 360 Hayes Road, Buffalo NY 14214. Failure to participate in the walk-through inspection will not be grounds for extra compensation due to field conditions encountered on this project. Masks are mandatory on campus.

Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid.

It is the policy of the State of New York and the State University of New York to encourage minority business enterprise participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, and all bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy.

The State University of New York reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
