PURPOSE: The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to establish a competitive sealed proposal for Plano ISD Food and Nutritional Services (FANS). A listing of items to be proposed upon is provided with this solicitation. This is a proposal process; terms or prices may be negotiated. Any negotiable criteria will be established and notifications will be made to potential contractors. This RFP includes but not limited to the purchase of:
ANNUAL EXPENDITURES: The estimated expenditure for this contract is approximately $87,500 including an allowable 15% tip. However, this estimate should not be construed to be a guarantee of either minimum or maximum since usage is dependent upon needs and available funding. This estimated expenditure may be exceeded by 10% annually.
TERM: The initial term of this RFP will be for one year from date of award. This contract, upon the agreement of both the successful vendor(s) and the Plano ISD, will automatically extended for four (4) additional one (1) year periods. This decision will be made in the best interests of Plano ISD.
Initial Contract Period: August 1, 2026-July 31, 2027
Contract YR2 (Option): August 1, 2027-July 31, 2028
Contract YR3 (Option): August 1, 2028-July 31, 2029
Contract YR4 (Option): August 1, 2029-July 31, 2030
Contract YR5 (Option): August 1, 2030-July 31, 2031
