INVITATION TO BID

The Town of Reading, Massachusetts invites bids for:

"ON-CALL PAINTING CONTRACT" Contract No. 26-11

Sealed bids for On-Call Painting Services for the Town of Reading, Massachusetts, will be received at the Town Hall, Town Clerk’s office, 16 Lowell Street, Reading, MA 01867.

Documents will be available to download from https://www.readingma.gov/Bids.aspx after October 1, 2025 at 10am.

All bids shall be submitted to the Reading Town Clerk’s Office prior to 2:00 P.M. on October 20, 2025 at which time and place the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.

The contract will be awarded under the provisions of M.G.L. c. 149 to the lowest cost responsible and responsive bidder offering the lowest total price for all three years of the contract.

Each Bid shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and shall be accompanied by a

bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount Bid.

It is the responsibility of prospective proposers and or bidders to check the Town of Reading’s website for new information any addenda or modifications to any solicitation.

The Town of Reading reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or to award or not to award the contract for any reason the Town Manager determines to be in the Town's and/or the public's best interest.
