Description

| Project Title: | Facilities Conditions Assesment |
| Description: | Fayetteville State University is seeking qualified firms to provide Facilities Condition Assessment (FCA) services. The purpose of the FCA is to perform a preliminary review of physical assets to identify problems, assess general costs, and note potential construction defects, components that may have a reduced service life, or systems that have been poorly maintained. This assessment will not provide a detailed analysis of each system but will focus on general issues and deferred maintenance that may affect the value or performance of the facility. The University prioritizes vendors with proven experience in higher education and a commitment to meeting the needs of campus leadership and FSU’s institutional goals. The FCA will not include routine maintenance items, detailed remedial plans, testing of materials, or engineering calculations to assess the adequacy of existing designs. The firm selected will provide a qualitative review of the property and recommend any further investigations if necessary. The intent of this solicitation is to award an Agency-Specific Contract. |
