THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND NOT A COMPETITIVE REQUEST FOR QUOTE.
The National Park Service, Contracting Operations Central, Arizona Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue a Sole Source award for Mule Packing Services for the Saguaro National Park (SAGU)
The National Park Service intends to procure mule packing services from one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). This will be a commercial acquisition using simplified acquisition procedures and will be classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 488999 with a Small Business Size Standard of $25 million. This is a Sole Source Notice and not a request for quotations. No solicitation document is available with this notice. Any firm that believes it has the capabilities to provide mule packing services may contact the Contract Specialist, Lindsay McLaughlin at lindsay_mclaughlin@nps.gov, 719-470-8678 for more information regarding the requirement or specifications. A determination not to compete this proposed order based on responses to this notice will be made at the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice will be considered for support of the Government's determination to support of a non-competitive strategy.
