RFI RESPONSES

Can we use chemical solvent to remove the flooring mastic?
No, as per the SOW: Demolition and Abatement performed under this contract shall be performed in accordance with 10 NYCRR Part 73 and PG 18 1: MASTER CONSTRUCTION SPECIFICATIONS. Demolition and Abatement work shall include, but is not limited to, all labor, material, equipment, and supervision to perform the required demolition, abatement, encapsulation, and disposal. All asbestos containing material shall be demolished and abated mechanically, chemical abatement shall not be permitted.
Can you please include the ACM Survey report with the documents.

Can we use the bathroom across the hall for water access?
Yes.
Demo note 4 - What is the ACM Material to be removed from behind the radiators?
See attached documentation for similar work performed in 918C
Demo note 5 Please confirm the terrazzo base is to remain.
Terrazzo base is to remain, just needs to be free of mastic.
