Eyecon 9420

The Eyecon 9420 Pill Counting Machine will be used for accuracy and to mitigate the risk of filling errors (quantity, incorrect drug, incorrect dose, etc.). It is used to capture accurate dispensing records of medication, specifically narcotics. The Eyecon 9420 Pill Counting Machine fills a prescription with the accurate drug prescription and count by reading the barcode on the label for the drug, providing the required prescribed count of medication, as well as saves the data and pictures to retrieve later of the issued prescription fill if needed. By completing the previously mentioned tasks, the Eyecon 9420 Pill Counting Machine increases speed and accuracy of prescription fills, simplifies inventory management, saves time, as well as ensures there is color photo documentation of the issued prescription, which assists in patient safety (visual warnings which notify the operator when specific situations occur. Some examples are: Wrong Fill Quantity, Double-Count and Back-Count, Partial Fills, Generic Substitutions).

This equipment and software is compatible and already integrated to interface with the existing ScriptPro and Vista system for outpatient dispensing, therefore, no other branded equipment system will be compatible with existing equipment and software.
