The District Board of Trustees of Valencia College, Florida (“College”) is requesting proposals from qualified suppliers to refinish and/or fabricate and install approximately seventy (70) exterior hanging signs and exterior post signs dispersed over three of the College’s campuses (West, East and Osceola). Attendance at the Mandatory site visits will be required in order to submit a response to this RFP. We only offer the opportunity to refinish or reuse components of signage if it is more economical. For instance, we reused many of the in-ground posts for our vehicular signage as it was more economical to refinish in place than to install new posts. Refinish/reuse vs. new fabrication
The Q/A states the College does not have a preference on which signs are refinished versus newly fabricated and that reuse is acceptable where economical. Would the College prefer proposers to submit separate pricing options for: a. reuse/refinish where existing components are suitable; and b. all-new sign assemblies/components? |
