Exterior Chimney Brickwork Repointing - Bowie Railroad Museum

The City is soliciting quotations from qualified and experienced contractors to provide all labor, materials, equipment, and construction services for exterior brickwork repointing and repairs as specified in this RFQ at the Railroad Museum located at 8614 Chestnut Avenue, Bowie, Maryland.  Complete specifications and bid documents may be obtained at no cost through Bid Locker at https://bidlocker.us/details/5585 . Registration to use Bid Locker is at https://bidlocker.us/Account/Signup and is free to all interested parties.
Electronic (pdf) bids will be received through Bid Locker at https://bidlocker.us/details/5585 until 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 28, 2026. The City of Bowie reserves the right to reject any bids.

There will be a mandatory pre-bid meeting held at 9 AM on Thursday, January 15, 2026 at the Railroad Museum.

All questions or requests for clarification regarding this Invitation for Bids are required to be submitted through the Bid Locker platform at https://bidlocker.us/details/5585 prior to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 21, 2026. Written responses to all questions and/or requests for clarifications will be issued as an addendum to the solicitation no later than Friday, January 23, 2026, to all those who have registered with Bid Locker and downloaded the specifications and bid documents.

The City encourages certified disadvantaged business entities to submit a quote.
