EXT MOH | Window Performance and Water Testing

Project Summary: The City and County of San Francisco (the “City”), acting through the Mayor’s Office of Housing and Community Development (MOHCD) and TNDC, the developer of the parcel at 2550 Irving Street (the “Site”), are constructing an affordable rental housing project including units serving formerly homeless households and ground-floor resident services and management offices. Construction began on June 10, 2024. TNDC is working with Pyatok Architects on design. Waypoint Consulting is providing Construction Management services. Guzman Construction is the General Contractor.

Scope of Work: Window Performance and Water Testing
•        Air Infiltration Test in accordance with ASTM E 283
•        Water Infiltration Test in accordance with ASTM E 331 and ASTM E 547
•        Air Infiltration Test in accordance with ASTM E 783
•        Prior to full production, test the mock-up in accordance with ASTM E 1105
•        Test in accordance with AAMA 501.2

LBE/SBE Requirement: The project is administered by the San Francisco Mayor’s Office of Housing and Community Development (MOHCD). The San Francisco Contract Monitoring Division has assigned a 20% LBE / SBE participation goal.  The developer/sponsor is responsible for meeting the overall LBE/ SBE participation goal, which includes any design and pre-construction services. The selected consultant will be responsible for assisting the developer/sponsor by providing forms regarding LBE/ SBE professional services goals as it pertains to their scope of work.
