EXT DPH | Medical Physicist Services

The Department of Public Health (“DPH”) is in search of Qualified Medical Physicists (“QMPs”) to perform support, maintenance, regulatory acceptance testing, calibration, and safety surveys of all San Francisco Health Network (“SFHN”) Radiology equipment located at
Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital (“ZSFG”), Laguna Honda Hospital (“LHH”), and other DPH locations as needed.

The successful Proposer must be or have resource to provide QMPs who are licensed to practice independently in one or more of the subfields of Medical Physics, and meet the criteria set forth in the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (“AAPM”) definition of a Qualified Medical Physicist.

Whether a Proposer has the requisite qualifications will be determined through the evaluation process described in Section IV (Minimum Qualifications) of this RFP. The successful Proposer must be able to be on site within three (3) hours of an emergency service request.
