Exhaust fan replacement and installation project at Glenside Homes

Project Description: Reading Housing Authority (RHA) will receive sealed bids for the Exhaust fan replacement and installation project at Glenside Homes until 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, on www.pennbid.net at which time all bids will be publicly opened on www.pennbid.net. Bids received after this time will not be considered. Bids shall be submitted on the basis of a stipulated sum. The Owner also reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids for any reason or reasons whatsoever.
Reading Housing Authority (Owner) is pursuing a project to remove and replace 400 bathroom exhaust fans and control switches and install 400 vented kitchen range hood exhaust fans according to mechanical and electrical drawings and documents.
On Friday, July 11, 2025, at 10:00 A.M., RHA will conduct an on-site pre-bid conference at the Glenside Boiler House located at 626 Avenue B, Reading, Pa 19601. All interested bidders are encouraged to attend both the pre-bid conference and site visit.
Copies of bidding documents are available to qualified contractors at pennbid.net. Questions about technical specifications can be asked on pennbid.net. All requests for information are to be submitted in writing on www.pennbid.net before 11:00 AM on Friday, August 1, 2025.
