Synopsis:

|
The Rural Municipality of Longlaketon #219 (RM 219) will be accepting proposals for the supply of:
-
One New Excavator, OR
-
One Used Excavator
Specifications will fall between these parameters:
-
210 - 250 long carriage class
-
150 - 190 horse power
-
0 hours up to 5,000 hours
-
Hydraulic Thumb
-
Brush Guarding
-
Dig and Clean out Bucket
-
Quick Attach
-
Heat and A/C Cab
-
AM / FM Radio
-
Back Up Alarm
-
Webasto/Espar Engine Heater
-
75% under Carriage Minimum
-
Full Machine Warranty for 3 years or 3,000 hours, whichever occurs first.
The proposals will be received until 8:00 am Central Standard Time, on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at the office of the Rural Municipality of Longlaketon No. 219 located at 212 Main Street, Earl Grey, Sk. or via email at rm219@sasktel.net, or mailed to Box 100, Earl Grey, Sk. S0G 1J0.
Any proposal received later than the time specified will not be accepted regardless of post mark date or courier delivery schedule.
Lowest or any proposal not necessarily accepted.
There will not be a public opening.

The RM requires one (1) Excavator for seasonal work on their roads. The equipment shall meet the above specification. The "Full Machine Warranty" term is to be 3 years or 3,000 hours, whichever occurs first.
The desired specifications set forth the requirements for a Excavator are expected to perform in all weather conditions with seasonal extremes ranging from -20 degrees Celsius to +40 degrees Celsius.
The Excavator shall be equipped with all the manufactuer's equipment and accessories which are included as standard in the advertised and published literature for the unit. No such item of equipment or accessories shall be removed or omitted for any reason.
Proposals shall only be accepted from suppliers that maintain a heavy duty mechanic technician within a 200 km radius of Earl Grey, Sk.
The successful proposal is to provide manuals, catalogues and spare parts.
