Evitts Creek Phase IV - Interceptor Sewer To Pump Station, City Project 06-08-S

The Mayor and City Council of Cumberland, Maryland are soliciting bids for the project:

EVITTS CREEK PHASE IV - INTERCEPTOR SEWER TO PUMP STATION

CITY PROJECT NO. 06-08-S

Completed bids shall be submitted to the City of Cumberland’s online solicitation website, until but not after 2:00 p.m., local time, on 8/20/25.  All Bids will be virtually released at 2:00 p.m. on that date and available to view on the website. Released bid information does not constitute any award has been made.

Project description:

This project includes replacement and rehabilitation of approximately 6,500 linear feet of primarily 24” sewer line.  Portions of the existing pipe will receive CIPP (cured-in-place-pipe) rehabilitation, while other portions will require dig and replace-in-kind with new PVC pipe.

A "Mandatory PREBID SESSION” for the purpose of answering or obtaining answers to questions of parties interested in performing the work, relative to construction details, will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on 7/28/25 at the City Hall Council Chambers. 57 N. Liberty Street, Cumberland.

A Proposal Guaranty (Bond or Certified Check) in the amount of at least 5% of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid.

The successful bidder will be required to submit a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, for all construction contracts in excess of $100,000, at the time the contract is executed.

The Mayor and City Council reserve the right to waive any technicalities and to reject any or all bids, and to accept any or all proposals which in their judgment is to the best interest of the City.
