Event Management Services

New York Office of General Services, Procurement Services (OGS PS) is seeking a qualified Contractor to provide event management and support services for the successful hosting of the New York State GovBuy 2024 (“GovBuy”). This two-day event will be held on November 21-22, 2024, at the Empire State Plaza in Albany, New York.

The Contractor must provide event planning, logistic and scheduling support services, event execution, and post-event services for the 2024 GovBuy event. The Contractor must be on-site at the Empire State Plaza in Albany, NY the day prior to the event, November 20, 2024, and on each day of the event for the duration of the event. The event site shall include, but is not limited to, the Convention Hall, the Empire State Plaza Meeting Rooms 1-6, The Egg and the NYS Concourse. The Contractor must provide an appropriate level of trained and experienced staff and all necessary contract services to accommodate approximately 1,500 participants (such as exhibitors, attendees, and event staff).

Minimum Bidder Requirements:

1. Bidder must be a New York State Certified Minority/Women Owned Business Enterprise (M/WBE), Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Business (SDVOB), or a New York State Small Business (SBE) as defined in Executive Law Section 310 (20).
2. Bidder must have at least three consecutive years of experience providing event management services for events of similar size and scope.
