Project Description: The Kansas City Health Department’s Behavioral Health and Injury Prevention Division is
seeking proposals from community organizations to provide career technical training to
individuals aged 17 to 35 who come from disadvantaged backgrounds. This program supports
the Health Department’s broader strategy to reduce violence, as detailed in the KC Blueprint For
Violence Prevention and a Safe and Healthy Community.
