CITY intends to replace its current Customer Information System, which is a highly customized, on-premise version of Banner, by adopting a modern, industry-leading, cloud-based SaaS CIS & Billing solution.
The utility’s objective is to reduce operating costs, add functionally, and reduce training time by using capabilities of the software that support their day-to-day business. With a modern, efficient, scalable, and easy-to-integrate-with solution, the new system will enhance customer data and billing management, streamline processes, improve security posture, improve data accuracy and accessibility, as well as reduce in-house support effort and cost. This project is critical to effectively maintain accurate billing including collections and ensure customer satisfaction.
Optionally, CITY is open to exploring other relevant, peripheral meter to cash solutions that would further automate and simplify the utility’s technical and functional solutions (e.g. Customer Self-Service Portal, Backflow solutions and Mobile Work Management).
