Project Description

The Gary Sanitary District (GSD) is soliciting quotations from qualified electrical contractors for the installation of a new electrical feeder and transformer system to support EV charging infrastructure.

The project consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, tools, conduit, fittings, terminations, supports, trenching (if required), testing, and commissioning necessary to install approximately 2,500 linear feet of feeder wiring from an existing 480V three-phase source to a new transformer and distribution panel.

Mandatory Pre-Bid Site Visit

A mandatory pre-bid site visit will be conducted at the Gary Sanitary District to review existing site conditions, electrical infrastructure, access requirements, and project scope.

All interested contractors are strongly encouraged to attend the site visit to familiarize themselves with the project requirements and installation conditions.
