Description
The Merrimack Valley Planning Commission (MVPC) has released a cooperative bid for qualified firms for winter salt on behalf of municipalities within Essex County. Participating communities include: Amesbury, Boxford, Essex, Georgetown, Gloucester, Groveland, Hamilton, Haverhill, Ipswich, Lynnfield, Manchester by the Sea, Merrimac, Middleton, Nahant, Newbury, Newburyport, Peabody, Rockport, Rowley, Salem, Salisbury, Saugus, Swampscott, Topsfield, Wenham, and West Newbury.
The bid opening will be held on Monday, September 21, 2026 at 12pm.
