ESInet Software and Network Solution – CenturyLink Communications, LLC, d/b/a Lumen Technologies Group

DPS intends to extend an existing agreement with CenturyLink Communications, LLC, d/b/a Lumen Technologies Group, for an additional 36 months. The agreement renewal will provide a software and network solution to provide the ESInet for 9-1-1 call delivery throughout the state of Minnesota. Services include, but are not limited to, call connections to Minnesota PSAPs and the core transitional network services, which are comprised of legacy selective router gateways, legacy network gateways, Border Control Function, voice over IP gateways, and IP selective routers.

DPS has determined that this is a single source purchase since the existing transitional services, described above, must remain in place and be used for 9-1-1 call delivery until the State establishes and migrates to the next generation core services for 9-1-1 call delivery.
