NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE
Scriptpro Printers
The Chillicothe Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center, 17273 State Route 104, Chillicothe, OH 45601 intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.1061(b)(1)-Contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. The NAICS code is 334419 with a small business size standard of 750. The VA intends to solicit and negotiate with Scriptpro 5828 Reeds Rd, Mission, KS 66202.
The pharmacy department is requesting equipment and supporting interface required to go live with Cerner. This will include Storage and Retrieval System Base Cabinet (x1), SRS Workstation (includes 4 scanning drawers) (x2), Rx Paperwork Printer (x3), Smart Card Scanner (x2), Rx Paperwork Printer Barcode Card (x3), and Standard Interface - Rx Paperwork & Medication Guides (x1). All must be compatible with the Scriptpro systems already in place.
Other persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by Thursday March 30, 2023 at 12PM EST. Such capabilities information will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis.  All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No solicitation is available at this time. All inquiries must be submitted by email to Tiera Sims at Tiera.Sims@va.gov.
