Equipment Inspection and Repairs, Variable Speed Motor Controls

The City of St. Petersburg is seeking bids from qualified vendors to provide variable speed motor controls and related inspection services for the City’s Water Resources Department at multiple locations throughout the City of St. Petersburg.

The City uses variable speed and soft start systems at most of its water processing and pumping locations. The typical range of systems is from fractional horsepower to 500hp. The intent of these specifications is to provide a comprehensive on-call maintenance service. This will include preventive, repair and emergency service to manufacturer’s recommendations and specifications at the direction of city authorized representatives and replacement of equipment and parts following written authorization.
