Synopsis:
|
|
The Town of Springside & Springside Fire Rescue are inviting tenders for the construction of an equipment building to house fire apparatus.
The building will be located at 308 Taylor Avenue, Springside, Saskatchewan (next to the Town Office and existing Fire Hall).
Tender is for construction on site. Floor Plan is attached to tender documents. More information available upon request.
Preference would be to have the groundwork and foundation completed before December 1, 2025.

85’x42’ – 16’ high 2”x6” wall construction
Ground preparation
Engineered Concrete Foundation and pad
H shaped trench drain system into sump pit
3 - exterior person doors
2 – 12’ wide and 14’ high garage doors
1 - 20’ wide and 14’ high garage doors
Plumbing
2-1/2” water supply connecting town mainline to front of building
1- ½” water spigot ½ along the length of building
Electrical
Lighting – LED, interior and exterior front, back and over person door.
Emergency lighting
Outlets on walls and ceiling for apparatus in bays
Exterior outlets front and back
Connection for emergency generator included in panel
2- ceiling mounted furnaces
Air scrubbing or exchange system for c02
Concrete pad front and back of building to property lines, full width of building
1- 42’x27’
1- 42’x11’
Construct a breezeway between existing building and new building
6’x7’
Supply and install exterior door where existing window is in existing building
