Project Title:	Equine Boarding for Police Mounted Unit
Description:	The City of Raleigh, on behalf of the Raleigh Police Department, is soliciting proposals from experienced boarding facilities to provide full-service care for the Department’s Mounted Unit horses. These horses support a range of public safety and community engagement efforts, including patrolling parks, greenways, and other public areas, as well as participating in special events throughout the city. The intent of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to partner with a professional boarding facility that can ensure high standards of equine care during the horses’ off-duty hours. Qualified facilities will have the capacity, expertise, and infrastructure necessary to meet the daily care, housing, nutrition, and general welfare needs of working police horses. A detailed scope of services is provided in Section 4 of this document.
