Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) RTD Employee Training

The Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Office is seeking facilitators to deliver an in-person RTD-developed EEO training to employees to identify and eliminate workplace harassment and discrimination. The facilitators will provide the one-hour training to the approximately 2,000 RTD employees requiring training.

The RTD Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Office is dedicated to fostering a work environment that puts a premium on dignity and respect for all employees. The EEO Office collaborates with other RTD departments to ensure the agency provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants without regard to ethnicity, race, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability or veterans’ status under employment laws. In alignment with this goal and to comply with FTA requirements, the EEO Office must train all RTD employees regarding the agency’s EEO policy and procedure prohibiting discrimination and harassment. RTD has developed EEO training content and requires experienced trainers to assist in the delivery of this content to RTD employees. This will be an interactive PowerPoint presentation and RTD will provide all of the necessary technology and handouts for the training.
