Description

The U.S. Department of Justice, Drug Enforcement Administration intends to award a sole source purchase order to EPICOR SOFTWARE COMPANY for the purpose of purchasing Epicor ITSM Licenses with Support and Maintenance. ITSM software is currently used in the CSOS program to log and track Help Desk Service calls. ITSM Software is a proprietary software and Epicor is the sole provider. Point of contact is Nilda F. The proposed purchase order is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate only with EPICOR SOFTWARE COMPANY. In accordance with Competition in Contracting Act 41 USC 253(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, other than full and open competition is authorized when there is only one responsible source and no other supplies and services will satisfy agency requirements. Justification for the determination is attached. The following FAR Part 12 provisions and clauses are applicable to this acquisition: 52.12-4 (Feb 2007) Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items and 52.212-5 (Apr 2008) Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders-Commercial Items. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 541512. The Government anticipates the award of a firm-fixed price purchase order. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotation. A Request for Quotation (RFQ) is not available. This is not an RFQ.
