The Scope of Work for the decommissioning and removal of the EPCOT generators as described by the Construction Drawings and Specifications. Specific elements of the Scope of Work are generally summarized below but this Summary of the Work is not intended to be complete descriptions of the Work. Any quantities or measurements, if included in the summaries, are approximate and are not to be used in estimating the Work.
It is the intent of the Owner that the Contractor will perform all of the Work of any kind and nature
shown on the Drawings and/or described in the Specifications or other Contract Documents, which
is within the Contractor's Scope of Work, unless specifically excluded or indicated as Ownerfurnished and/or installed. Any Work not specifically indicated on the Drawings and/or described in
the Specifications or other Contract Documents, but is required to fulfill the intent of a "complete job"
for the Contractor's Scope of Work, will be considered included in the Contract. Work must meet all
requirements of the local, state and federal codes and standards.
A. The Scope of Work for the Epcot generator decommissioning includes, but is not limited to:
1. Disconnect and Removal of two 12.5KV Generators and associated enclosures, and empty
fuel tanks.
2. Demolition of 15KV Generator Switchgear.
3. Demolition of all interconnecting power and controls conductors.
4. Closeout and abandonment of underground overflow tank and associated piping.
Contractor must provide State of Florida Electrical License.
If Contractor has the Advanced and Basic Flagger TTC Certifications, please provide. This is not a requirement of the bid though the plans call for Temporary Traffic Control (formally known as Maintenance of Traffic).
