BC Transit, hereafter referred to as the “BCT”, is requesting Expressions of Interest (EOI) from interested parties for the supply of 105 Heavy Duty Hybrid Diesel-Electric Transit Bus. For the purposes of this EOI a heavy duty bus is represented by the forty-foot (40-foot) low floor transit style buses. This EOI is intended to determine whether there is enough market interest to proceed to a competitive bidding process. In the event there is enough interest in this requirement, BCT may, but is not obligated to, initiate a competitive bidding opportunity.
