Environmental and Stormwater Engineering - Professional Continuing Consulting Services 2026-2031 (GEC)

The Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners is seeking qualified consultants to provide Environmental and Stormwater Engineering Professional Consulting Services to the Divisions of Environmental Management and Stormwater for the implementation of multidisciplinary projects. Typical work may include: updating Watershed Management Plans or ICPR models including floodplains; designing stormwater improvement projects including green infrastructure best management practices and nature-based shoreline restoration projects, reviewing and analyzing hydrologic and hydraulic data; performing Quality Control, constructability, or peer reviews; performing water quality, sediment, and biological monitoring design and sampling; laboratory or data analysis and reporting; resource mapping; reviewing environmental regulations; providing support for project management or data management; and providing general environmental services in support of the County’s environmental programs, and other environmental work as needed.

The Public Works Divisions of Environmental Management and Stormwater are responsible for watershed management and planning, water quality and ecological evaluations which requires engineering and environmental support services operation, maintenance of stormwater assets, and the development and implementation of green infrastructure projects.
