Event Description
This request for proposal (RFP) is a request for a Consultant that will assist the South Dakota Army
National Guard (SDARNG) in updating their inventory of historic (more than 50-years old) structures and
buildings throughout their facilities in South Dakota. This work is being done to aid in compliance with
Section 106 and Section 110 of the National Historic Preservation Act, as amended (NHPA) and it’s
implementing regulations as outlined in 36 CFR 800. This project will provide the SDARNG a
comprehensive inventory of all buildings and structures in their inventory, along with construction dates,
and National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) eligibility status (listed, eligible, not-eligible, not yet 50-
years old). The work requires a thorough understanding of the SDARNG facilities, their history, and their
extant resources. Understanding changes and alterations that have taken place to the various facilities
will expedite the documentation work, as will a thorough knowledge of the history of the SDARNG. Work
location is South Dakota - Statewide.
Copy of Exhibit A is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
