Environmental Soil and Groundwater Remediation IDQ FY26

The work to be performed under this contract and associated work orders includes excavation and disposal of all contaminated material and other non-contaminated materials scoped for removal, verification of the extents of contaminated material via the performance of post-excavation confirmation soil sampling, and replacement of material with suitable import material, placed in compacted lifts, and restoration of disturbed areas used for the work to pre-existing conditions, or as otherwise scoped. The work also may include dewatering efforts and associated testing and treatment of existing groundwater in accordance with applicable municipal, State, and Federal regulations.

All Requests for Information (RFIs) shall be submitted no later than Wednesday, May 20, 2026 4:00 pm through the Questions portal at https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/norfolk/projects/261379 . Any RFI submitted after this date cannot be guaranteed a response by the City.
