PUBLIC NOTICE

SFY 2026 RFQ ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING SERVICES

The South Amboy Redevelopment Agency (SARA) (“Agency”) is soliciting proposals from qualified applicants for the position of Environmental Engineering Services.  Proposals are being solicited through a fair and open process in accordance with N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.5.

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

Pursuant to the provisions of N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.5 et seq., the Agency is hereby requesting proposals for the award of contracts for the following “Professional Services” for a term of one year:

ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING SERVICES

You are hereby requested to submit a proposal to provide the respective professional services which provides the Agency and Council of the City with information to evaluate your firm with regard to the following factors:

1. Experience and reputation in the field;
2. Knowledge of the subject matter;
3. Availability to attend all required meetings;
4. Availability of personnel, facilities, equipment and other resources to provide such services;
5. Qualifications and experience of personnel and organization including a list and status of major projects;
6. Any other factors your firm wishes the Agency to consider in evaluating your firm’s ability to perform the respective professional services requested by the Agency.

All proposals One (1) original and ONE (1) CD must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked with “RFQ Environmental Engineering” addressed to South Amboy Redevelopment Agency, Attn: Kristal Manion, QPA, 140 N. Broadway, South Amboy, NJ 08879 before Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at 1 pm., at which time they will be opened and read aloud.

Please be advised that all proposals will be evaluated by the Agency on the basis of that which is most advantageous to the Agency, taking into consideration the above factors.  Please be further advised that the Agency reserves the right to reject all of the proposals submitted.
