ENGINEERING SUPPORT FOR ADVANCED POWER SYSTEMS

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) Code 444 has a requirement to provide engineering support for advanced electrical power and propulsion systems during the construction and life cycle of US Navy ships and associated NSWCPD test sites. This requirement involves providing engineering, technical, production and subsequent logistic support services required to develop and integrate technological improvements for the:

• DDG-1000 Class Integrated Power System (IPS) Support


• DDG-51 Class Flight III and New Construction IPS Support


• DDG(X) Land Based Test Site IPS Support


• Advanced Missile Defense Radar (AMDR) Support Power Conversion Module (PCM) IPS Support

NSWCPD intends to award on a competitive basis a Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF), Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract with provisions to establish Firm Fixed Price (FFP) orders. The contract will have a five (5) year ordering period and six (6) year period of performance. The anticipated award date is in August 2023 (FY23 Q4).
