Engineering Services: Long Point Boat Basin & Muddy Creek Dredging Project

The Queen Anne’s County Department of Parks and Recreation (COUNTY) is soliciting proposals for engineering services to develop construction plans, based on approved and pending permits, prepare specifications, bid documents, and perform contract administration, inspection, and other services for a small mechanical dredging project at Long Point Boat Basin and Muddy Creek, a tributary to Chester River.

Develop construction plans, specifications, detailed construction cost estimates, prepare bid documents, and perform contract administration, inspection, and other possible services related to dredging Long Point Boat Basin, Grasonville, MD, and Muddy Creek access channel to Chester River, per approved permits and pending permit modifications. The work shall be completed under the direction of a professional engineering firm with a minimum of five (5) years documented relevant experience. The work shall be completed on a timeline to post a bid in September 2025, enlist a dredging contractor in Fall 2025 who will provide dredging operations in Fall 2025/Winter 2026, to be completed by March 1, 2026.
