Synopsis

The purpose of this contract is to provide engineering and related services to King County Department of Natural Resources and Parks, Parks Division (“County”) to identify and collect existing condition information, conduct a planning phase to evaluate multiple route and facility alternatives and ultimately identify a preferred alternative, coordinate with partners such as the City of Renton, establish design criteria and design phase alternatives, and perform future phases of work for the Preliminary Design, Final Design and Construction Engineering for subprojects of the Renton Regional Trail Hub. Planning will cover the entire project area while all other phases are anticipated to occur on different timelines for each subproject. Initial subprojects could be projects such as:
• Eastrail to Lake to Sound Connector, design
• Lake to Sound Segment E (from Segment D to Cedar River Trail), design and construction.
