Description
Created in 2014, Connecticut Port Authority is a quasi-public agency of the State of Connecticut whose primary responsibility is to market and coordinate the development of the State’s ports and maritime economy. Through this solicitation, the Authority is requesting proposals from engineering firms with demonstrable expertise in matters outlined in the Scope of Services of this RFP. The Authority is undertaking a project titled New London State Pier Shore Power Project which consists of purchasing mobile shore power equipment, furnishing and installing supporting shore power infrastructure at the New London State Pier as more particularly described herein. This will enable docked marine vessels to connect to the local electric grid to power onboard services instead of running their diesel engines. In order to support this Project, the Authority is seeking to procure engineering services that shall support: Equipment Specification; Engineering & Design; and Installation & Support.
