Engineering Design and Construction of a 42' x 64' Steel Pole Building Project

Project Description: The Borough of Catasauqua (“Owner”) will receive sealed bids electronically via the PennBid Program for the complete design and construction of a 42’ x 64’ painted 28-gauge steel panel pole building on the Borough’s Wastewater Treatment Facility site at 18 West Race Street, Catasauqua, PA 18032. The work shall include professional engineering design, preparation of construction plans, and specifications, product manufacture, erection and field supervision.
Bids will be received online via PennBid until 11:00 a.m. (prevailing time) on Thursday, November 13, 2025. Bid results will be made available on PennBid after bid opening/review by Owner.

The bid must be accompanied by bid security made payable to the Owner in an amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price, and in the form of a certified or bank check or a Bid Bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraph 6.01 of the General Conditions.
This project is subject to minimum wage rates in accordance with the applicable provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act and the Public Works Employee Verification Act. Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in, and/or to reject, any or all bids. No bid will be accepted if not submitted through the PennBid system.
