Engineering Construction Inspection Services

The County of Orange ("County") is seeking engineering firms to provide Construction Inspection Services*. At the County's request, a contracted firm ("Consultant") shall provide Construction Inspection Services for a certain project, which will include performing on-site observations of the progress and quality of the work being performed by the County’s contractor. The County may elect not to require a Consultant to provide services on any and/or all projects.

1. The Consultant shall provide Construction Inspection Services on an as needed basis, for various construction projects including, but not limited to, the following:

1. Site construction;
2. Building renovation or construction;
3. Bridge rehabilitation or replacement;
4. Dam rehabilitation or replacement;
5. Roadway construction and placement of asphalt pavement;
6. Concrete curbing and sidewalk installation;
7. Gas main installation;
8. Sewer main installation;
9. Water main installation;
10. Boring & jacking of sleeves across county roads; and
11. Sanitary sewer collection and treatment system improvements.
    
    The County intends to award a contract(s) under this RFP to the three (3) highest scoring responsive and responsible firms. For each firm issued an award, the County may contract for all projects under a Master Agreement for Consultant Services, to be amended with each Project, and/or a separate Agreement for Consultant Services for each Project ("Project-Specific Agreements").
