Description

Engine Component Improvement Program (CIP) is the only source of sustaining engineering for improvement to the active inventory of Air Force gas turbine engines which date to the mid-1950s. This Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation program develops, tests and delivers solutions to the warfighter that increases safety of flight, correct operational deficiencies, improves Reliability & Maintainability (RM) reliability, durability, operability, supportability, maintainability, electronic parts obsolescence, and reduces total ownership costs for fielded aircraft engines.
