Engine Companies 2, 9 and 30 - Concrete Apron Replacement

The District of Columbia (the “District”) Department of General Services (“Department” or “DGS”) is issuing this Invitation for Bids (“IFB” or “Solicitation”) to engage a Small Business Enterprise (“SBE”) contractor (the “Contractor”) to provide all labor, materials, and equipment to complete construction services for Engine Companies 2, 9 and 30 - Concrete Apron Replacement, located at:

The District FEMS mission serves to preserve life and promote health and safety through excellent pre- hospital treatment and transportation, fire prevention, fire suppression, rescue activities and homeland security awareness.

The Engine Company 2, 9 and 30 FEMS locations operate on a 24/7/365 basis. All work is to be coordinated with DGS and FEMS to ensure minimal disruption to the day-to-day operations at the mentioned FEMS locations.

The goal of the project is to implement the demolition replacement of a structural concrete slab in the parking area located at Engine Companies 2, 9 and 30. The Contractor shall deliver a complete, turnkey solution to deliver a successful Project.
