Rehabilitation of 750 feet of 18-inch sanitary sewer using the Cured-In-Place (CIPP) process at the Water Treatment Plant (on Manson Street from Cooper Street (M-50) to the east side of the Penn Central Railroad right-of-way) in the City of Jackson, Jackson County, Michigan. Major bid items include Sanitary Sewer Liner, CIPP, 18-inch, Service Investigations, Maintaining Traffic and Railroad Flagman.
The sewer segments to be lined were constructed with vitreous clay pipe in 1925 and are critical to the operation of the City of Jackson Water Treatment Plant. Portions of the sewer segments to be lined are located with the Penn Central Railroad right-of-way (operated by Norfolk Southern) and state highway M-50 right-of-way (controlled by Michigan Department of Transportation).
