Energy Consulting Services (RFQ)

A. Objective

The San Antonio Water System (“SAWS”) is pursuing a Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”) seeking the services of qualified consulting firm(s) (“Respondent”) to help SAWS strategically reduce energy consumption within water and wastewater operations. The selected consultant(s) will focus on behavioral/operational (low-cost/no-cost) opportunities and ensure the operation of SAWS’ water and wastewater infrastructure is occurring in the most energy efficient way possible. Ultimately, the selected consultant(s) will be responsible for helping SAWS work towards its energy goals identified within the Energy Management Plan.

SAWS may select more than one (1) Consultant for contract award.

Estimated Budget: Not to exceed $250,000.00 per year for one (1) year with four (4) additional one-year extension options shared amongst all selected consultants.
