Enabling Innovative Clean Energy Building Solutions

Description of goods to services to be bid:

The NYSERDA End Use Energy Innovation program seeks to reduce the energy use of NYS consumers through advancements in the performance and capabilities of economically viable building solutions. By supporting building innovations, the program will enable buildings to be more energy efficient, load flexible, and resilient. Many building innovations have the additional benefit of improved indoor air quality and quality of life for consumers, providing not only economic value, but improved occupant comfort as well.

This solicitation seeks to attract solutions that directly benefit low to moderate income and disadvantaged communities across NYS and it will focus resources on the successful commercialization of building innovations. In addition to articulating the technical innovation, proposers must describe their commercialization strategy, including: customer discovery and channel strategy, competitive landscape, intellectual property, fundraising needs, manufacturing and scale-up, key partners, and team qualifications and development.

Eligibility/Qualifications Requirements/Preferences:

NYSERDA seeks teaming arrangements that increases the probability of success and commercialization of technologies that yield New York State benefits. Teams may include commercial firms, manufactures, large original equipment manufacturers (OEM), industry associations, research organizations, universities, government agencies, end-users, and other stakeholders.
